We are Hiring: Sales and Marketing Support Specialist (Life Science)

Stoelting Co. is a Chicago-based company that produces a wide range of specialized hardware and software used by preclinical neuroscience researchers in academia and the industry. Stoelting has a sales and logistics support office in Europe which is run in cooperation with Red Box Direct Limited at our Dublin facility in Churchtown. Red Box Direct manages the European businesses for a number of manufacturers of high-tech life science instrumentation.


We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with an interest in life sciences to join our team as a Sales and Marketing Support Specialist (Full-time, Permanent). In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of tasks, including handling customer inquiries, supporting sales activities, coordinating marketing efforts, and maintaining supplier relationships. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Tech savviness will be a significant advantage in excelling in this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Handle a variety of inbound queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer questions related to products.

  • Sales and Lead Management: Organize and maintain sales activities, manage pipelines, and contribute to the reporting of sales performance.

  • Technical Support: Assist with technical queries, manage product returns and repairs, and provide general technical assistance as needed.

  • Marketing and Outreach: Support digital marketing initiatives, including content creation, outreach efforts, and research to gather valuable market insights.

  • Supplier and Event Management: Foster relationships with suppliers and coordinate logistics for events and conferences.

  • Documentation and Inventory Management: Prepare and maintain essential product documentation and manage inventory to ensure efficient operations.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • A third-level education in a scientific discipline

  • Ability to travel to European countries and the US, approximately 20-30% of the time

  • Strong communication skills

  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms and tools.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Experience in marketing, content creation, and market research is an advantage.


It should be noted that although sales is a large portion of the role, sales experience is not required as full sales training will be provided.

Location:

This is a full-time permanent position. You will be based in our office in Dublin 14 with the flexibility of a hybrid model (maximum 2 days per week from home). This role will require travel throughout Europe (and occasionally to the US) which can vary month to month depending on customer and business needs.


Salary expectations:

The starting salary range is €35,000-€45,000 negotiable based on experience and qualifications, with an additional bonus scheme based on set annual company goals.
