Our client, Aurora Scientific, is a Toronto-based company that designs and manufactures advanced instrumentation for muscle physiology, olfactory research, and material science applications. Aurora has built a strong presence across the US, Canada, and South America through direct sales from their headquarters. In Europe, they’ve partnered with us for over a decade, operating from our Dublin facility in Churchtown to support their growing customer base.


We’re now seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for life sciences to join our team as Product Manager – Scientific Sales (Maternity Cover). In this role, you’ll take ownership of Aurora Scientific’s product lines across Europe, providing both sales and technical support to researchers and institutions.


Key Responsibilities:

● Customer Support: Respond to a range of inbound queries, ensuring timely and accurate communication regarding product information and support.

● Sales and Lead Management: Coordinate sales activities, manage pipelines, and contribute to performance reporting to drive revenue growth.

● Technical Support: Address technical inquiries, oversee product returns and repairs, and provide hands-on assistance as needed.

● Marketing and Outreach: Support digital marketing campaigns, outreach initiatives, and market research to inform strategy and engagement.

● Supplier and Event Management: Build and maintain supplier relationships, and manage logistics for conferences and events.

● Documentation and Inventory Management: Maintain essential product documentation and oversee inventory to ensure smooth operations.


Qualifications & Skills:

● Master's degree in a life science discipline

● Willingness and ability to travel to European countries and Canada, approximately 20-30% of the time

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills

● Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms and tools.

● Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.


It should be noted that although sales is a large portion of the role, sales experience is not required as full sales training will be provided.

Location:

This is a 12-month maternity cover with a possibility of extension. You will be based in our office in Dublin 14 with the flexibility of a hybrid model (maximum 2 days per week from home). This role will require travel throughout Europe (and occasionally to Canada) which can vary month to month depending on customer and business needs.


Salary expectations:

The starting salary range is €35,000-€40,000 negotiable based on experience and qualifications, with an additional bonus scheme based on set annual company goals.
