To our knowledge, IonOptix is unique in offering the simultaneous acquisition of fluorescence photometry and digital cell geometry detection. The systems are fully integrated and installed on-site, so the the researcher can be up to speed within days of delivery. Whereas it is a general fluorescence system, most laboratories use it to simultaneously acquire calcium data and cell length or sarcomere sarcomere spacing.  

Systems are offered with any of our three excitation light sources: the HyperSwitch, the StepperSwitch, or the Optoscan. Both single and dual emission photometry is offered to cover all possible fluorescence probes. The MyoCam provides 240Hz cell dimension measurements. The systems also permit the simultaneous acquisition of up to 4 channels of 12-bit analog data at a maximum rate of 1000Hz. The data rates of the photometry acquisition are dependent on the light source and probe.

To provide a complete set-up for physiological measurements we are also supplying a number of peripheral items one may need when setting up a new system such as stimulators, chambers, heaters or perfusion systems. Please contact RedBoxDirect to discuss your needs.
