Microdialysis Probes, Cannulae and Freely Moving Unit.
Eicom is a manufacturer of not only microdialysis probes, but also chemical analysis system. Although microdialysis technique is commonly and widely used, it is not easy to set up complete environment for the technique. Microdialysis probes
We released new AZ-X-Y microdialysis probes for the customers who are going to switch to ours from other brands. The inlet and outlet diameter of the probe became larger to be compatible for several kinds of tubing connectors.
The cap nut system to secure a microdialysis probe in a guide cannula (see next figure) provides more reliability for freely moving study. Even if some force to pull the probe was applied on the probe, only the tube joint parts would be disconnected. Then you need just to reconnect (please use our standard connectors at this time) and you can restart perfusion without reinsertion of the probe which results in extra injury.
