Chromatogram obtained by injection of 100 fmol (10 fmol/µl × 10 µl) standard solution. The sensitivity of the HTEC-500 is as low as 5 fmol of acetylcholine.

Acetylcholine from a microdialysis sample, without the use of an Ach-esterase inhibitor, in the rat prefrontal cortex. The peak represents 18 fmol, sample collection time was 20 min.
