POSITION : Product Manager (Scientific Sales) – International travel
BACKGROUND: Red Box Direct manages the European businesses for a number of manufacturers of high-tech life science instrumentation. Neuralynx is an internationally recognized provider of electrophysiology data recording systems and solutions for neuroscience research. Neuralynx specializes in the development of electrophysiology data recording systems, optogenetics systems and experimental accessories. Recent growth means that Neuralynx now wants to open an office in Europe and have decided to do this in co-operation with Red Box Direct Limited at our Dublin facility. We are looking to hire two Product Managers to work in this office.
CORE ACTIVITES: Based in our offices in Rathmines, Dublin 6 you will travel internationally to meet customers in order to demonstrate and provide support for the Neuralynx product range. You will have to exhibit our products at academic meetings and so will need to quickly develop a technical understanding of our product range. You will also be expected to carry out numerous duties to help support the sales goals and logistical requirements of the business unit.
GOAL: To grow sales of the product-line, provide scientific support to customers and support the day to day running of the business.
REQUIRED SKILLS: You will have a third level qualification in a life science discipline, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, applied physics or a related area. Post graduate qualifications are desirable, but not essential. You will have a general interest in technology, be presentable, hard-working, self-motivated, have a sociable nature and possess a full driving license. Sales experience is not essential as full training will be given.
SALARY: Salary is in the region of EUR 28,000 to EUR 45,000, negotiable based on experience and qualifications, with an additional bonus scheme based on performance
